Laurel Pop Festival

Laurel Raceway, Laurel, Maryland
July 11-12, 1969
Nice, small festival that went off without a hitch. About 15,000 attended.
Led Zeppelin's power was cut-off (too dang loud) and the Saturday show was delayed two hours due to rain. It was one of the last appearances of the Jeff Beck Group, as they broke up after the next show (Singer Bowl in NYC on 7/13).

Friday, July 11
Buddy Guy's Blues Band
The Edwin Hawkins Singers
Al Kooper
Jethro Tull
Johnny Winter
Led Zeppelin

Saturday, July 12
The Guess Who
Savoy Brown Blues Band
The Mothers of Invention
Sly & The Family Stone
Ten Years After
Jeff Beck Group
